Catalina Macedo Giang

Catalina Macedo Giang is a student at UGA majoring in Geography with minors in Public Policy and Spanish. She has a deep passion for sustainable and equitable urban development and policy, specifically in public transportation and housing, and hopes to work with and uplift underserved and underrepresented communities in her career. Outside of her involvement with the DEEP lab, she is involved with volunteering with BikeAthens to advocate for more alternative mobility options in Athens as well as preparing and distributing meals to food-insecure individuals through the Campus Kitchen at UGA organization.
