Daniel Schultz

Daniel Schultz is an undergraduate student majoring in Political Science in the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia. Alongside his work in the DEEP Lab, Daniel works with Professor Jamie Carson conducting research on Congressional Politics and the electoral roots of governmental dysfunction. Daniel is currently serving as the Chief of Staff for Georgia State House Representative Spencer Frye, coordinating the Spencer Frye Fellowship to aid him in his legislative duties while teaching fellows leadership and political skills. Daniel is interested in the impacts of public policy and how they impact the social orientation of certain populations. After undergrad, Daniel plans on pursuing a J.D. Ph.D. track with the hope to research and litigate civil rights policies and abuse.
